Adaptive Lifeform Ltd (“we”, “us”) is responsible for AL and the personal information described in this policy.
Information we collect
We may collect your name, email address, account identifier, authentication information, subscription and usage status, conversations, saved memories, safety reports, prompts, images, camera or gallery selections, documents and other files you choose to provide. We also process basic technical information needed to operate, secure and diagnose AL.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, provide conversations and requested features, analyse uploaded images and other content, maintain conversation history and optional memory, generate supported document files, manage subscriptions and limits, answer support and deletion requests, investigate safety reports, prevent abuse and improve reliability.
Service providers and AI processing
Supabase provides authentication, database, storage and server functions. OpenRouter and AI model providers selected through it may process prompts, conversation context and uploaded content to produce responses. Google Play processes Android subscriptions and payments. These providers receive information only as needed to perform their services and may process it internationally under appropriate safeguards.
Legal bases
Where UK or European data-protection law applies, we process information to perform our contract with you, pursue legitimate interests such as safety and service security, act with consent where required and comply with legal obligations.
Storage, security and retention
Account data, conversations, memories and uploaded content may be stored using Supabase. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, although no online service can guarantee absolute security. We retain account information while an account is active and as needed to provide AL. Account deletion removes associated live account data except information that must be retained temporarily or by law, including limited security, fraud-prevention or backup records.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing and request a portable copy. Email adaptivelifeform@gmail.com to exercise these rights.
Cancelling a Google Play subscription does not delete your AL account. Deleting an AL account does not automatically create a subscription refund.
Account deletion
You can delete your account inside AL through Account → Delete My Account, or use our external account-deletion page.
Children
AL is not directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission.
Changes and complaints
We may update this policy as AL, our providers or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date when changes are published. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority, including the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
